Privacy Policy — Stoic Martial Arts

Stoic Martial Arts ("we," "us," "our") operates this website from our gym at 1455 Park Rd, Chanhassen, MN 55317. You can reach us at (952) 900-2523.

This policy explains what information we collect when you use our site, and what we do with it. Plain version: we collect the minimum we need to answer your questions and get you into a trial class. We do not sell your information to anyone.

Information we collect

When you fill out an inquiry or trial-booking form, we collect: your name, your email address, your phone number (if you provide it), your program of interest (e.g., Adult BJJ, Kids BJJ, Boxing), anything you write in the message field. Automatically, our site collects basic analytics data through Google Analytics: pages visited, approximate location (city level), device type, and how you found us. This data is aggregated — we don't use it to identify you personally.

How we use it

To respond to your inquiry and help you book a free intro class; to follow up about classes, schedule changes, or membership options you asked about; trial-form submissions are also stored in GymDesk, the software we use to manage class bookings and memberships; to understand which pages people visit so we can improve the site. We will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run this site's forms and analytics (currently GymDesk and Google Analytics), and only for the purposes described above.

Email and text follow-up

If you give us your email or phone number, we may follow up about your inquiry. You can opt out at any time — just reply "stop" to a text or tell us directly, and we'll remove you from follow-ups.

Children's privacy

Our kids' programs are for minors, but our website forms are intended for parents and legal guardians — not for children under 13 to fill out themselves. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through this site. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics cookies to understand site traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Data retention and your rights

We keep inquiry records only as long as useful for following up or as required to run the gym. You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you — contact us at (952) 900-2523.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
